Marching Into Building Better Communities Voting Bracket

The Junior League of Flint (JLF) is proud to present our latest initiative – Marching into Making Better Communities. As we “march” into making better communities, we have a unique opportunity in which everyone wins! Our JLF has selected 8 area non-profits in alignment with our mission of helping women and children in our community. Regardless of who wins the overall bracket tournament with the most votes, each of the 8 teams will be granted an unrestricted gift. Voting starts on March 29 with the overall winner announced on April 5, 2021.

JLF Members considered organizations that don’t necessarily have the deepest pockets connected to them, organizations that serve women and children, and organizations with diverse leadership or serve a diverse population.  Our method does not entail an actual march, instead, we have created a bracket challenge where JLF Members and the community will have the opportunity to vote for their best non-profit team. Each of the 8 teams will BE GRANTED AN UNRESTRICTED GIFT.

Our goal for this initiative is to educate the great needs we have within our community. By gaining awareness, we create a community that cultivates resources for those who really need it. This past year has proven to be nothing less than challenging for so many people, and JLF is committed to marching in to help in big and small ways.

You can help us by sharing our messages through social media to educate the community on each of the non-profits and cultivate votes! Winners will be announced on April 5th! Thanks so much for your support!
